With an electric range of up to 427 km (WLTP) and zero tailpipe emissions, the EX30 Cross Country is built for sustainable adventure. With certain chargers, it can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in just 26 minutes.*
How is it different?
But what makes the EX30 Cross Country different to the EX30? The main difference that meets the eye is its height. Volvo has raised the Cross Country 19 mm higher off the ground than the standard EX30, to help you navigate through rough terrain more easily. The vehicle body has also been equipped with special, larger wheels, with an optional add-on of 18-inch all-terrain accessory tyres, making those muddy treks easier to tackle. You’ll notice chunkier front and rear bumpers, roof rails, and a new front panel etched with a topographical map of the Kebnekaise – Sweden’s highest standing mountains.
Of course, the EX30 Cross Country is also equipped with all-wheel drive, making it even more capable of handling tough and slippery conditions.
Stepping inside the cabin
Take a seat inside and you’re met with clean, minimal Scandinavian design and smart functionality. Containing a myriad of clever technology, it’s the Scandinavian chic we’ve come to know and love from Volvo. The doors now contain new compartments where the speakers used to be, which are now incorporated into the dashboard.
A versatile central storage tunnel between the driver and passenger can be slid out as a cupholder for your morning fika (coffee), or back if you need to just store more things – in which case, the large floor storage compartment will also come in handy. Backseat passengers can find their storage box area also out of the central tunnel, which is removable and washable, so it can double up as a waste bin. On the boot lid features Volvo’s classic “Will it fit?” guide, so you know exactly how much gear you can get in.
