The towbar bike rack is built to carry three bikes but can be expanded with an adapter to accommodate a fourth. The towbar connection has an ergonomic single-handed grip that requires minimal force to close, but still provides the best possible stability. The wheel holders can be extended laterally, which also allows transportation of bikes with wide wheelbases, so you can easily mix it up from road cycling to taking to the mountain tracks.

The foldable bike holder attaches to the tow-bar and carries two bikes. Designed to be extremely compact, it features a patented design that is easy to use, handle, and store. With a simple two-step system, the holder can be installed on the tow bar within seconds – it simply folds out and is then ready to be used. Of course, being Volvo, it has also been thoroughly tested to meet the highest quality and safety standards for you and your family.

If summertime just screams hitting the water to you, you’re not alone. And with the Volvo kayak roof holder, getting your kayak to the water has never been easier. Simply installed onto load carriers, the Volvo kayak holder is securely locked in place with the included lock, reducing the risk of theft. For some vehicle models, you can even carry two kayaks, safely strapped in with the supplied tension straps and protected by a soft rubberised surface.

Become One with the Road (and Roof)

Leave accommodation worries behind this summer and guarantee yourself the best room possible with the Volvo roof tent. With space for 2-3 people, the tent effortlessly attaches to your Volvo’s roof racks in just minutes. Inside, a plush mattress ensures a cosy night’s sleep, while panoramic windows bring nature right to you. The elevated position offers unobstructed views and full privacy, and the angled walls create a spacious interior with a roof height of 102 cm for extra comfort.

Simply fitted with the load carriers’ T-track, it has a low profile with wedge-shaped walls for easier loading. Better yet, you can even increase the load basket’s load length by half just by adding a Volvo roof basket extender.

If the roof basket doesn’t fulfil all your requirements, look no further than the Volvo roof box. Now made from mostly recycled materials, their aerodynamic design supports minimal impact on fuel consumption and range. With extensive size variants, you’ll have no trouble taking everything you need on your trip.

When travelling with the family, we all know it can get a bit “heated” in the car – whether it’s from who’s sitting in the front on the way back or just the strong sunbeams leaking in.
