What are Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Packages?

Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Packages are meticulously crafted retail maintenance packages that include all vehicle scheduled maintenance inclusive of parts and lubricants according to the vehicle maintenance schedule (Porsche owners can find this in their Warranty & Maintenance or Guarantee and Maintenance Manual).

Underwritten and administered in New Zealand through Porsche New Zealand (European Motors Limited) with the support of your local Official Porsche Centre, like Porsche Centre Christchurch, these packages are in addition to the warranty programmes provided by the manufacturer and are designed to seamlessly complement the manufacturer’s warranty programmes, providing comprehensive coverage and hassle-free servicing.

Which vehicles does a Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Package apply to?

Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Packages are available for a wide range of Porsche models manufactured from 2011 onwards, including the iconic 718, 911, Macan, Cayenne, Panamera, and Taycan.

Note that if you’re buying a brand-new Porsche vehicle from an official Porsche Centre like Archibalds/Porsche Centre Christchurch, the scheduled maintenance of your Porsche is on us. You’ll enjoy free servicing for the first three years through a cost-free maintenance plan, exclusive to new Porsche models (718, 911, Macan, Cayenne, Panamera and Taycan vehicles).

Bear in mind that if you own or are looking to buy a used 2011+ Porsche that doesn’t have a complete service history, a Maintenance service can be completed by an approved Porsche Centre and then a package can be purchased on that service.

What’s the duration of a Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Package?

Available in two to six-year intervals, the duration of the package is determined by your vehicle’s last documented service completed at an Official Porsche Centre. This means that whether your Porsche is due for service every year or every three years, you can select a package that aligns perfectly with your maintenance schedule.

What’s included in a Porsche Maintenance Package?

Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Packages cover all tasks outlined in your vehicle’s maintenance schedule. From routine inspections to fluid changes, these packages ensure your Porsche receives the care and attention it needs to perform at its best.

However, it’s essential to note that service repairs or part replacements due to wear and tear are not covered under the package, for example (but not limited to) wiper rubber, brakes, and wheel alignments.

Also excluded are parts or labour required as a result of accident, theft, use of vehicle on racetracks or off-road events, misuse or acts of neglect, or any act of omission by anybody who is not an Official Porsche Centre.

What responsibilities does the owner have?

Owners must maintain their vehicle within the guidelines outlined in the vehicle service schedule supplier with the Driver’s Manual. All scheduled maintenance or repairs must be performed by an Official Porsche Centre and the owner must ensure that all fluid levels are checked on a regular basis.

A: Yes, the package is transferable upon sale of the vehicle between private parties or via an Official Porsche Centre. The agreement is terminated upon sale to (or via) a third-party dealer.

Q: When does the Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Package expire? 

A: The package will expire on the earlier of:

  • expiry of the term selected at time of purchase
  • completion of the allocated services provided
  • vehicle sale or traded via a third-party dealer (policies are transferable only between private parties and Official Porsche Centres)

The Official Porsche Centre should be notified if the vehicle is exported, sold via a third party, or written off.
