Christ’s College Students Explore Careers at Archibalds

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Year 11 students from Christ’s College at Archibalds for a day of exploration into the world of automotive careers. Across three engaging sessions, students got an up-close look at how our dealership operates, from the workshop floor to the showroom.

This visit is part of our ongoing relationship with Christ’s College, where we aim to provide students with opportunities to learn more about potential career paths within the automotive industry.

The day was led by members of our team, including James Morton (Service Manager), Charl Labuschagne (Service Consultant), Cameron Fahey (Porsche Specialist), Andre Waller (Porsche Brand Manager), JJ Jordaan (Business Manager), and Jack Morgan (Vehicle Support Specialist). Together, they provided students with a broad overview of the diverse roles within the business, sharing valuable insights into their responsibilities and the career paths that led them to Archibalds.

One area of interest for the students was our sales department. They were eager to learn about the volume of vehicles we handle and the processes involved in managing such operations. Their thoughtful questions reflected a genuine curiosity about the logistics of running a dealership like Archibalds.

We also had a chance to share personal career stories, helping the students see how diverse and dynamic the automotive industry can be. Judging by their questions and feedback, the experience left them with a clearer picture of what their future in the automotive field might look like.
