Supporting Our Tamariki: Archibalds Partners with Camp Quality

At Archibalds, driving progress goes beyond the vehicles in our showrooms – it is about investing in the people, families, and grassroots organisations that make our Canterbury community strong. That is why we are immensely proud to announce our 2026/27 alignment with Camp Quality in the Christchurch region, a charity dedicated to bringing hope, joy, and connection to children living with cancer.

A Mission Rooted in Joy and Resilience

For decades, Camp Quality has provided life-changing, cost-free camp experiences for tamariki aged 5-16 facing cancer. Navigating a serious health diagnosis often means long hospital stays, missed school, and time away from typical childhood experiences.

Camp Quality changes that narrative. By pairing every camper 1-on-1 with a trained volunteer companion, their annual summer camps offer a safe, supportive environment where children can push boundaries, build self-esteem, and make lifelong friends who understand their journey. It gives these young people a rare and vital opportunity to simply step away from medical routines and be kids again.

Making a Difference Together

Supporting local families facing difficult journeys is a responsibility we take deeply to heart. We look forward to working closely with the dedicated team and volunteers at Camp Quality as we gear up for the upcoming camp season in Christchurch.

Camp Quality is a registered charity that relies on the generous support of the public, charitable trusts and businesses to run our camps every year.

There are a number of ways to support them, from a one off monetary donation or sponsoring a camper, to organising fundraising activities and donating items and services.

Every year approximately 150 New Zealand children & young people are diagnosed with cancer. Your support will provide camps and year round supporter to these children build their resilience, to learn to live, love and just enjoy being children again.
