This meticulously curated event showcased the unparalleled sophistication of our latest Range Rover vehicles. Our customers were immersed in a realm of comfort and elegance as they navigated some of New Zealand’s most breathtaking landscapes behind the wheel of these iconic models. More than just a test drive, it was a unique opportunity to connect with the Range Rover—experiencing its performance, design, and innovation in a setting that perfectly complements its remarkable qualities.
The group gathered at Archibalds, where four couples traded in their keys for a set of new Range Rover ones. Each couple had the opportunity to test the full Range Rover lineup—Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Velar, and Range Rover Evoque. Driving in convoy, they experienced the luxurious comfort these vehicles are known for. Along the way, they paused for a scenic picnic, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and paddocks—an ideal moment to stretch their legs and swap vehicles before continuing the adventure.
Before long, our guests arrived at their breathtaking destination—Lakestone Lodge, nestled by the serene waters of Lake Pukaki. The exquisite accommodation was the perfect complement to the premium driving experience, offering an ideal retreat to relax and unwind. Guests were warmly greeted with refreshing cocktails, followed by a delightful two-course lunch featuring a seasonal soup made from locally sourced ingredients, accompanied by a gourmet tasting platter of artisanal cheeses, chutneys, and perfectly paired meats including the area’s iconic smoked salmon. The afternoon was theirs to enjoy at their leisure—some explored the pristine surroundings, while others indulged in a soothing massage.
After a leisurely afternoon to relax and take in the surroundings, dinner commenced that evening in the lodge’s elegant dining room, which offered uninterrupted views up Lake Pukaki towards Mt Cook. This stunning setting provided the perfect backdrop for our guests to engage with our attending sales representatives, asking any and all questions regarding the Range Rover models they had experienced throughout the day. Over a carefully curated three-course meal, guests enjoyed insightful conversations and the opportunity to further immerse themselves in the world of Range Rover, all while savouring the finest local cuisine.
