Land Rover Defender is proud to announce that the ‘Defender Journey’ – one of the world’s most exclusive and luxurious drive experiences – is now available for the New Zealand public to experience for the very first time.

The iconic two-day adventure epitomises the spirit of Kiwi exploration and discovery, inviting participants to embark on a journey of a lifetime, at one of four bookable sessions spread throughout November and December 2024.

Guests can expect a truly unique off-road experience as they traverse the rugged and picturesque Central Otago high country, immersing themselves in the tranquillity of the landscapes and the unparalleled performance capabilities and cutting-edge features of the Defender – the world’s most iconic off-road vehicle.

The experience sets a new standard for luxury SUV adventures with a two-night stay at The Lindis, an unparalleled blend of luxury and nature nestled in the breathtaking Ahuriri Valley.

The building’s design, highlighted by an elegant wooden roof that mirrors the earth’s contours, achieves a seamless blend with the surroundings.

Guests will enjoy the best of locally sourced cuisine and exceptional wines in the expansive dining room each evening, with expansive windows merging the indoor and outdoor as the sun sets to showcase some of the darkest night skies in the world.

Guiding participants through this extraordinary journey are the team of automotive driving experts from Downforce – masters in delivering exceptional automotive experiences. Each guest will be behind the wheel of the Defender 110, equipped with a full suite of off-road technology and the potent D300 SE’s 6-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine to effortlessly navigate through testing Central Otago terrains and tracks.
