Archibalds Porsche Mt Cotton Track Experience 2025

Porsche is synonymous with legendary performance, from exhilarating acceleration to precision handling, all rooted in a rich motorsport heritage and iconic design. The Archibalds Porsche Mt Cotton Track Experience trip to Brisbane gives drivers the chance to fully explore and experience this mastery behind the wheel and explore the nuances of each model. It’s an inclusive luxury trip to Brisbane, with Porsche racing at its heart. From fine dining and bespoke experiences to seamless transfers and airport lounges, every detail of the four-day trip is meticulously planned so guests can focus on the thrill of the drive.

The trip began bright and early, with guests flying in from Auckland or Christchurch. Some had chosen to arrive a day or two earlier, taking the opportunity to extend their holiday and relax before the action began. By around 9:00am AEST, everyone had arrived at our 5-star boutique accommodation, The Emporium, perched on Brisbane’s stunning South Bank with views over the Brisbane River. Guests were greeted with a cold towel, their bags were taken care of, and they were escorted to the hotel’s Parisian-inspired cafe Belle Époque for breakfast and much-needed coffee. With beautiful weather averaging 27°C throughout the trip, the day was perfect for guests to explore Brisbane at their leisure or enjoy the hotel’s premium facilities, such as the rooftop infinity pool or the spa.

Precision (Level 1)

The group gathered at 6:30am for breakfast at the rooftop restaurant and bar, The Terrace, enjoying spectacular city views, a perfect start to the day. At 7:30am, transfers arrived to take everyone to Mount Cotton for Level 1 of the Porsche Track Experience.

Guests were thrilled (some even starstruck) to discover some of their instructors for the weekend were seasoned professionals and Carrera Cup race drivers.

With safety always at the forefront, participants began with theory classes before getting behind the wheel. These sessions expertly guided everyone through what to expect and how to prepare, ensuring they felt confident once in the car. The Precision course then became the ultimate playground. Designed for first-time participants or those looking to refine their driving, it focused on dynamic vehicle control, allowing everyone to explore the capabilities of Porsche sports cars and make the most of every moment on the track. The day was structured to help drivers achieve a high level of accuracy, providing the perfect foundation for future programs.

Wrapping up and departing the track around 4:30pm, it was safe to say everyone was thrilled, satisfied, and exhausted all at once. After a short break and freshening up back at the hotel, the group met in the lobby for the five-minute walk to OTTO Ristorante, one of the city’s premier Italian fine dining restaurants. Seated in a private dining suite, food and wine flowed as freely as the conversation, offering the perfect opportunity for everyone to reflect on an exhilarating day behind the wheel. Some savoured a final drink, others retreated to their rooms; after a day of high-octane experiences, it was an early night for most.

Precision Plus (Level 2)

Level 2, Precision Plus, builds on the skills developed in Level 1. Under expert instruction, drivers focused on approaching corners accurately, steering with precision, and mastering skillful braking and careful acceleration, all on a closed-road circuit designed to enhance safety and performance. Participants practiced taking evasive dynamic action and saw firsthand how small adjustments to inputs can refine driving style and improve accuracy.

The day also included a dedicated off-road four-wheel-drive course, where drivers tackled steep declines and ascents, rough terrain, and challenging side slopes, testing the capabilities of the Cayenne and giving everyone the chance to push their driving skills to the next level.

After a couple of incredible days of learning, driving, and pushing themselves to the limit, it was time for our guests to let their hair down. With no more breathalyser tests to worry about, the evening called for something special, a private yacht party. Guests were welcomed aboard a 92-foot vessel and, in the interest of safety (and deck integrity), swapped their shoes for custom Porsche slippers made especially for the occasion. Drinks and canapés circulated as they cruised down the Brisbane River, taking in the city lights from a truly remarkable vantage point. With a live DJ and saxophonist setting the mood, it was the perfect way to celebrate an unforgettable weekend.

Rewarded with a late check-out, guests enjoyed a relaxed breakfast and a leisurely morning. With flights not scheduled until later in the day, we gathered once more for lunch at The Jetty, a final chance to debrief and connect as a group before heading home. Having arrived as strangers just days earlier, it was great to see how everyone had bonded over the shared thrill of this incredible experience. It was the perfect way to round off an unforgettable trip.

Back at Brisbane Airport, guests were treated to lounge access at Escape, a final touch of comfort and calm after four exhilarating days. We wanted the experience to feel special right up to the very end.

This trip is always a highlight on the Archibalds Porsche calendar. While it’s technically work for our team, Natasha, Alex, and Charl, they returned home exhausted but with their cups well and truly filled. They couldn’t speak highly enough of our guests; some already Archibalds and Archibalds Porsche customers, others soon to be. Every person helped make the experience what it was; memorable, exciting, and something we’re already looking forward to doing all over again next year. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the weekend so special.
