Archibalds Porsche Golf Day 2026

The Archibalds Porsche Golf Day at Christchurch Golf Club has become a standout event on our calendar for guests and team members alike, and this year was no different. Nothing could take away from this acclaimed event, not even wind speeds reaching 50 kilometres per hour. A special thank you to our event partners—Avid, Christchurch Golf Club and its Pro Shop, Emma Lewisham, and The George Hotel—not only for their support in making the day such a success but also for adding a competitive edge to our ‘friendly’ game with some incredible prizes.

The day began with player registrations, with each team checked-in before everyone tucked into gourmet sandwiches prepared by Jolly Deli, Archibald Porsche’s local café. With a wide range of flavours like roast chicken, egg salad, and braised beef, to our namesake ‘Archibalds sandwich’- filled with slow cooked lamb, melted cheese, caramelised onion, hot honey, sumac yoghurt salad, and green goddess dressing. It was the perfect start to a day, the Archibalds Porsche way.

Guests also took the chance to reconnect with their teams, meet fellow players, enjoy lunch, and settle into the day ahead of teeing off.

Also in attendance were several vehicles from our Porsche range, giving guests the opportunity to get up close and personal with the latest models. And we know what you might be thinking: new Porsches, strong Christchurch winds, and golf balls doesn’t exactly sound like a perfect pairing but let us reassure you that not a single Porsche was harmed on the day.

Although the weather made things trickier than previous years, everyone rallied for the game and enjoyed the day – especially when Archibalds golf carts stocked with thirst-quenching beverages, zipped around the course.

The day concluded with a prize-giving ceremony, celebrating achievements such as closest to the pin, the longest drive, and a selection of spot prizes.

Prizes included luxury stays at The George, complimentary rounds of golf at Christchurch Golf Club, vouchers for The Crossing, Avid XPEL premium packs, a goodie bag from Emma Lewisham, and more. Most importantly, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, especially our Porsche customers who remain the foundation of our business.
