Your Questions on the Audi e-tron EV
Awarded 2019 Best Luxury SUV and Best Interior (Stuff), the Audi e-tron is an electric force to be reckoned with. But are you ready to commit to a full electric vehicle? We’ve answered some frequently asked questions that may help nudge you over the line.
What’s the range like?
WLPT (real world driving tests) set the Audi e-tron 55 quattro range at up to 441km, the Sportback at up to 452km, and the S Sportback at up to 378km. This is variable based on driving conditions, style, situation and terrain. The average New Zealander drives approx. 40km per day, meaning not only is the e-tron practical for everyday use, the long-range capability on offer makes long distance trips possible on a single charge.
Does the Audi e-tron come with a charger?
The e-tron SUV includes everything you need to get started, but on top of that, if you take yours home before 30 April 2022 then you’ll receive an Audi x HRV home charging installation with our blessing. T&Cs apply, see below or request a personal assessment.*
What can you tow with the e-tron SUV?
The e-tron’s tow rating is 1.8 tonnes (tow bar is an optional accessory). We’ve put together a guide to answer your questions on can electric vehicles tow?
What’s the battery’s lifespan?
While the vehicle’s warranty is 5 years/150,000km, Audi provide an 8 year/160,000km warranty on the e-tron’s battery, whichever occurs first.
