The Audi Ice Experience Returns for 2024

The Audi Ice Experience is the pinnacle of automotive driving experiences. A winter driving experience spanning 2 days where you, the driver, get to speed across the ice in one of the worlds top automotive testing grounds, the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds (SHPG). Set deep in the Cardrona Valley, you will take part in driving experiences in the latest and greatest Audi has to offer. Driving at top speeds and mastering skills such as steering, counter-steering, and drifting on snow and ice in our range of performance vehicles, this is the event for you.

This luxury experience offers the best of the best with 5-star accommodation, food, and drink available with the package. With the Pro package guest will be offered a private dinner at Aryburn precinct in Arrowtown and a helicopter transfer from the SHPG to the 5-star hotel. Needless to say this experience has a bit of everything for everyone.

What is included in the 2024 event and how much are tickets?

General admission tickets

For the General tickets the event runs from the 10th – 12th of August 2024. This consists of 2 nights and 1 day of hands-on driving experience at the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds. For a single driver the entire experience costs $4,550, with two drivers costing $8,500. Included in this is a plethora of activities and perks such as: a welcome function, 5-star accommodation at The Rees, breakfast, bus transfers to/from Audi ice experience, drinks and nibbles after driving at Ayrburn in Arrowtown.

On top of this there are optional extras including a bespoke Audi x Huffer Superdown Jacket and helicopter transfers.

Pro tickets

For the Pro tickets the event runs from the 6th – 8th of August 2024. This consists of 2 nights and 1 day of hands-on driving experience at the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds. For a single driver the entire experience costs $7,300, with two drivers costing $13,955.

Included in this price is all of the activities from the general ticket plus a helicopter transfer back to the hotel, an Audi x Huffer Superdown Jacket, and a private dinner at Aryburn precinct in Arrowtown. there is also the optional extra to add a helicopter transfer to Audi ice experience: pricing TBC.

How do I secure tickets?

Priority and early access ticket opportunities are provided to VIP Audi owners, that is: those Audi drivers who purchased their Audi through an official Audi showroom. By buying a vehicle with a registered Audi dealership you become a part of an exclusive club. Archibalds Audi is an official member of the Audi family, and so are our customers. Following early access tickets, the general public are able to purchase tickets through the Audi website as they become available.
