Archibalds Audi Golf Day 2025

Purchasing an Audi from Archibalds Audi doesn’t just mean driving away in a spectacular vehicle with premium service and facilities to match. It also opens the door to the world of Audi.

As Canterbury’s official Audi dealership, we’re proud to offer our customers access to exclusive experiences both nationally and locally. From world-class events such as the Audi Ice Experience and tickets to the Audi Suite at the Australian Grand Prix, to dealership-level experiences like our popular Archibalds Audi Golf Day, being part of the Audi family means enjoying a lifestyle that goes beyond the drive.

Invitations were sent to our valued customers, inviting them to register individually or as a team of up to four. Any smaller groups were completed by us, pairing teams or adding individual players to ensure everyone had the chance to take part.

This year’s Archibalds Audi Golf Day was hosted on a Friday at the Christchurch Golf Club. The weather was in our favour, with a few clouds overhead and little to no wind, perfect conditions for a great day on the green.

The day began with registrations and a relaxed BBQ lunch, setting the tone for the afternoon ahead. Once everyone was organised and fed, teams headed out for a midday tee-off. Groups were spread across the course, starting at different holes to ensure a smooth flow of play and minimal wait times.

The event was played in Ambrose format, where all players on a team tee off, the best shot is selected, and each teammate plays their next shot from that position. The format encourages teamwork and is inclusive for all skill levels, allowing every player to contribute and enjoy the game on an equal footing.

After an enjoyable afternoon on the course, the event concluded with a prizegiving, an opportunity for everyone to come together, share stories from the day, and enjoy a well-deserved drink.

This year, we opted for spot prizes, with winners drawn randomly, except for Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. This approach allowed teams to focus on having fun, while giving everyone an equal chance to take home one of the many amazing prizes.
