Audi Dealer of the Year Awards 2022

In February 2023, Audi New Zealand held their Audi Excellence Awards for the 2022 calendar year. This year we were delighted to hear that the event would be held in Christchurch as we welcomed executives from Audi New Zealand, Audi ambassadors, and representatives from the Audi dealer network to the garden city.

Ilex was nominated as the venue itself; a stunning spot at the heart of Hagley Park, and an excellent setting for this year’s awards ceremony.

The night opened with an introduction from Audi New Zealand CEO, Dean Sheed, who made special mention to the Napier team who were unable to attend due to the after-effects of Cyclone Gabrielle.

Following Dean’s introduction, we were privaledged to witness a presentation from Audi AG’s country representative for New Zealand who proudly told us that New Zealand is the number one market for Audi Sport vehicles. In fact, over 25% of Audis sold in New Zealand wear an S or RS badge.

The night was MC’s by Hayley Sproull, with Audi’s ambassadors – Sir Steve Hansen, Juliette Hogan, and Steve Dunstan, in attendance.
