Archibalds Audi at the New Zealand Aerospace Summit 2025

Christchurch is rapidly carving out a reputation as New Zealand’s next frontier for innovation, emerging as a national hub for aerospace. Each year, the city hosts the New Zealand Aerospace Summit, the country’s largest aerospace conference. The fourth annual summit brought together industry pioneers, researchers, and innovators, and Archibalds Audi was proud to support the event, celebrating New Zealand’s growing role as a leader in aerospace innovation.

As part of the summit, we stood alongside Kea Aerospace as their ongoing launch partner. Kea’s mission to reshape the future with solar-powered stratospheric aircraft delivering high-resolution data is inspiring, and it was a privilege to celebrate their pioneering work.

This year, we also showcased the all-new Audi A6 e-tron Avant, demonstrating how electric innovation is not just transforming the roads but aligning with the forward-thinking ethos of aerospace. The A6 e-tron Avant reflects precision engineering, sustainable mobility, and cutting-edge technology, themes that resonate strongly with the summit’s focus on “Open Skies: Leveraging New Zealand’s Low Air Traffic and Rapid Regulatory Environment.”

The summit brought together industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to discuss New Zealand’s unique position as a global aerospace testbed, the acceleration of sustainable aerospace technologies, and the intersection of advanced aviation, space exploration, and regulatory frameworks.
