What can you do with Audi Advance Key

While features may vary by model, the Audi Advanced Key lets you control your vehicle effortlessly when you’re within about 1.5 metres with the key on you. Here’s what it allows you to do:

• Lock Your Doors: Simply touch the sensor on the outside of any door handle to lock the car. If activated, this will also fold in the wing mirrors. Hold your finger on the sensor a little longer, and the windows will automatically roll up too.
  
  

• Unlock Your Doors: To unlock, just place your fingers behind the door handle as if you’re about to open it. The sensors will detect your touch and unlock the car instantly.
  
  

• Open or Close the Boot: With a simple swipe of your foot under the sensor located below the rear bumper, the boot will automatically open or close—ideal for when your hands are full.
  
  

• Control Windows and Panoramic Sunroof: By holding the unlock button on your key, you can lower all windows and slightly tilt open the panoramic sunroof. To close them, just hold down the lock button.
  
  

• Customise Advanced Key Settings: While each Audi model may vary slightly, you can generally adjust your Advanced Key settings through the Car menu on the dashboard. Navigate to “car systems,” then “vehicle settings,” and finally “central locking” to manage your key’s functionality. You can even choose whether your key fob unlocks all doors or just the driver’s door automatically.
